With the holidays roll around, now is a great time to get the right gift for that huge Fortnite fan in your life. Given the popularity of the game as one of the largest online battle royale games and the ever-growing Esports realm, you’re sure to know at least someone who cannot get enough of hoarding loot crates. So if you’re looking to make this holiday season extra special, here are a few quick ideas for gifts that Fortnite fans can really enjoy. And even if you’re not!
Fortnite and fighting are a natural fit together; the video game’s long standing tradition of letting players fight other teams to the death has made it incredibly popular with the gaming community as well as casual gamers. While a lot of online gaming communities have gotten pretty big over the past decade, the Fortnite scene seems to be on the rise. For this reason, there’s little doubt that the video game will continue to expand into new forms of entertainment, most notably in the arena of the battle royale.
To help you get started on your holiday season festivities, I’ve assembled some suggestions based on my own personal experience as a Fortnite player. As with any major gaming event, Fortnite requires some preparation to ensure the highest participation rate. For example, last year’s Christmas loot train was a highly planned and organized affair. I spent a good portion of the evening planning strategies and coming up with specific gifts for each individual character – something that truly took practice to achieve the best results.
This year, I’ve gone ahead and written a Fortnite Gift Guide that is meant to be used as a reference during your Fortnite games-alone or with friends. The Gift Guide will walk you through the process of finding the best possible gifts that will appeal to the Fortnite fans in your life. By no means is this list exhaustive one, but it does allow me to tell you what kinds of gifts I would personally be considering for each of my four children.
For those who are looking for gifts to send out to their loved ones, my suggestion would be to look towards the holiday season. While the battle royale game is certainly appropriate for any time of the year, the holiday season allows you to give gifts that your friend/spouse/family members would appreciate. For example, I always find candles to be a highly appreciated gift item. I can’t even begin to explain the beauty and sense of light that they provide, especially after the long and dark winter seasons in North America.
I’m also a big fan of giving small toys as gifts. The small toys can usually be purchased for very little money, but they provide hours of entertainment. Another option that is becoming more popular with the holiday season is the “Fate” video game. This highly popular video game allows the player to experience the ups and downs of life, and it gives them the chance to feel good about things like winning the lottery. In fact, many people who purchase the Fate franchise tend to buy the video games for their families instead of purchasing gifts for their own use.
