A cloth face mask is an inexpensive mask generally composed of translucent common textiles, typically cotton, worn above the nose and cheeks. Although cloth masks have been used for centuries, they have become widely popular in the last ten years or so. Physical distancing is almost impossible, especially if more advanced masks are not readily available. This leaves the task of choosing the right mask a difficult task.
A good mask will contain ingredients that help to moisturize and seal in moisture to the facial skin. Some of these include natural oils like grape seed oil, Babassu wax, avocado oil, and Maracuja passion fruit extract. To make sure you get the most benefit from using a face mask, make sure that the base or foundation is oil-free and non-pore clogging. If the base is oil based, make sure that it is oil free.
Other important ingredients to look for in a face mask include cDC, or coconut dermopathy, which helps to replenish lost tissue and improve skin tone and texture. Caffeine clay, or dehydrated caffeine, can help to exfoliate skin as well. For maximum hydration, Shea butter, avocado oil, and babassu wax should all be present. Make sure to always choose products that use the term “caffeinated” on their labels.
A mask shouldn’t be worn every day. Usually, you can wear them only once or twice per week, once in the morning before you put on your makeup, and again at night before going to sleep. Coccadera extract should also be worn on alternating days, once in the morning, once in the evening, and again at night before going to sleep. Make sure that you read the label of any product containing colloidal silver, or colloidal silver oil, to make sure that you can wear them safely.
Some people, who have dry skin, may want to use colloidal silver soap bars, which can be purchased from any drug store. It’s important to keep your skin moisturized, even if you’re not using face masks. If your skin is too dry, it can become cracked easily. Colloidal silver soaps can be used daily.
Silver and n95 respirators (known as sterile nitrile) are often worn by nurses in hospitals, doctors in medical facilities, emergency room personnel, paramedics, and other health care professionals, to protect their lungs from bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants that can be inhaled. Silver and n95 respirators provide excellent protection, since they are virtually impenetrable to bacterial infection. While it’s unlikely that you’ll come into contact with a deadly virus or bacteria while you’re in the hospital or a medical facility, the same cannot be said for the risks of inhaling germs, chemicals, or other toxins. In order to protect yourself and others, wearing these products is essential.
